Helpful tips to measure your students for Graduation

Create a Height Chart
The first thing to know when choosing a Graduation Gown is the length, so capturing the height of each student is important.
Set up a height chart against a wall or use a tape measure to record each student’s height.
Be sure to measure from top of head to floor, with shoes. For anyone planning to wear heels, add an extra 3cm.
Build makes a difference
We all have different body shapes, which can impact if a gown is too loose or too tight.
To ensure every student feels comfortable and looking their best on the day, take build into account when ordering the most appropriate Graduation Gown size.
Measure shoulder width
Graduations Now offer Graduation Gowns right up to 6X-Large, with the shoulder width changing as you move from 3X-Large through to 6X-Large.
Use a tape measure to record each student’s shoulder width.
Head circumference
Graduations Now offer two sizes of Mortarboards Hats. Use a tape measure to record each student’s head circumference.
