Made from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles and woven into a high-quality matte finish with a handle and drape that feels and performs just like our standard high-quality gowns.
Our sustainable Graduation Gown collection is made entirely from recycled PET (plastic bottles), the most recycled plastic worldwide.
PET plastic is safe and widely used for packaging our food and beverages.
It takes about 23 plastic bottles to make each Mortarboard Hat and Graduation Gown set.
How can a plastic bottle be used to create a Graduation Gown? PET bottles are processed through grinding, washing, melting, and re-polymerizing, spinning and texturing into yarn.
The finished fabric is just as comfortable and durable as the fabric of our standard Graduation Gowns and can easily be worn over the students’ clothes or uniform.

Not that long ago our warehouse floors were cluttered with leftover plastic packaging and bags.
One day we decided enough was enough. It was time to stop accepting and dispatching all this plastic packaging.
Today, Graduations Now is proud to only use recycled biodegradable bags and paper packaging for storage and processing orders. All of our waste materials are bundled and sent for recycling, and we try to re-use all our cardboard shipping cartons where possible.
Australia Post satchels are made with 80% recycled plastic and can be recycled in the REDcycle bins located in 1,800+ supermarkets nationwide.

Our very popular open-front Matte fabric graduation gown makes a perfect statement giving you the look and feel you deserve on this momentous occasion.
A matching Mortarboard Hat and Tassel is included in your graduation gown package. These are made out of a high-quality matching Matte fabric. Our Mortarboard Hats are made with a rigid insert, made to last, with an easy comfortable elastic fit. Designed to fit most heads 52 cm- 60 cm. An X-Large Mortarboard option is available on check out.
Ideally suited for High School, University, TAFE, RTO and Corporate Institutions Graduates.
We manufacture our gowns in a high-quality Matte polyester fabric which is ideal for many academic celebrations. Our Gowns will keep their quality year after year.
Designed generously, our Graduation Gowns feature a concealed front zip and are 3/4 in length for ease when walking. The shoulder is reinforced to ensure the Gown is kept in position. A button is attached to the top of the Mortarboard Hat for easy Tassel attachment.
